Ted Wiles is the VP & General Manager of Lenbrook Canada Solutions (LCS), a Division of Lenbrook Industries Limited. LCS is a distribution and service specialist, joining customers with the communications technology products that they need in order to connect – whether on the job, in the workplace, at home, or on the road. Before devoting his work fulltime to LCS, Ted was the Product Manager for Bluesound, a wireless hi-res multiroom system to let users play music in any and every room of their home.Ted has over 30 years experience in Consumer Electronics products and a knack for B2B distribution and identifying key vertical markets.
Dave is Head of Canadian Markets at Fujitsu Network Communications and leads a team responsible for all market segments such as CSPs, ISPs, government, and utilities in support of digital transformation. With over 25 years of networking solutions expertise including strategic planning, execution and business development from both the wireless service provider and hardware/software industries. Dave graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1993.
Frank is currently Director of Government Affairs at Motorola Solutions and responsible for North American regulatory and global spectrum. Frank's career focus is on communications and public safety industries. This includes extensive expertise in end-to-end public and private communications solutions with responsibilities of commercial carrier network management engineering, strategic planning, standards and regulatory planning and execution, industry group creation and leadership, relationship development, business development, portfolio management, and engineering management.
Ruth is based in the UK and is responsible for Aviat Networks' global regulatory compliance programs. She has worked in compliance for 23 years, working for Redline Communications, as well as Aviat Networks. Ruth has worked in both North America and Europe and currently has a team based in Slovenia.
Robert is President and Chairman of the Board of JVCKENWOOD Canada, responsible for the company's Canadian operations. Robert has been involved in JVCKENWOOD Corporation's (JKC) mergers and acquisitions, participating in some of the larger corporate acquisitions within the communications industry and the merger of JVC Canada and JVC Professional Products. His experience has seen him work in both the United States and Canada and is deeply involved with JKC in the North American strategic planning and implementation.
Since October 2019, Mr. Nguyen serves as Head of Government and Policy Advocacy, responsible for Ericsson Canada's interaction with government and associations on technical, regulatory and policy issues. Mr. Nguyen began his career at Ericsson Montreal in 1988 where he held various technical and managerial positions. He relocated to Ericsson Toronto in 1998, assuming the role of Manager, Business Strategy as part of a team responsible for short- and long-term corporate strategies in Canada. Most recently, he held the role of Director, Regulatory Affairs and Government Relations. Mr. Nguyen served as the President of the Radio Advisory Board of Canada's (RABC) for three years and is the Past-Chair of the Canadian Electronics and Communications Association (CECA). Mr. Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (1988) and an MBA (1999) from McGill University in Montreal.
Pelin Salem is the Corporate Compliance Technical Leader at Cisco Canada. She has over 17 years of experience working in radio frequency design, testing, and compliance fields in both academia and industry in the US, China, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. Pelin holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering degree with expertise in electromagnetics and antenna design.
Derek Truax is the Sales Engineering Manager for PSPC Canada Systems Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies. He is responsible for providing product strategy, engineering, and technical support to the PSPC Canada sales organization and channel partners throughout Canada. Derek's 25 years in the industry began at Ericsson as a system engineer where he spent 10 years designing Land Mobile Radio, in-building wireless telephony systems, distributed antenna systems, and providing RF consultative services to a major operator in Canada. Derek has been with L3Harris Technologies since 2007 and has been the lead engineer responsible for many LMR system designs and implementations within Canada.
